I am really pleased with the positive response we have had from our first email newsletter last month and lots has happened since that edition.
As a specialist property insurance provider we have seen an increase in storm claims this month as the country has been battered by high winds and rain. I can just about remember 30 years ago and seeing the piles of paper around my Dad’s office as he and his colleagues desperately tried to help policyholders after the Great Storm of 1987. Now of course, we like many insurers have a paperless office and insurers themselves have 24/7 claims numbers but we are still there to help you and work with insurers to ensure you get the correct decision as quickly as possible if you need to make a claim. A sound claims service is part of our offering to you and we firmly believe an enhanced customer service is important to our development. This month we have partnered with Trustpilot so our customers can give feedback by a nationally recognised accreditation company. This is something we will be working on and learning more about our customers’ experiences so that we can enhance the service we continue to give. Although we are almost 50 years old we hope we can continue to learn new methods and skills.
We continue to see many new leads for landlords, homeowners and businesses up and down the UK and we are about to take another leap forward this month as we launch a new online quotation for people involved in the event sector.
Although we have invested heavily in technology this year we have revamped our front of our house service for customers visiting our office. So if you take the time to visit us at the Windmill any weekday between 9 and 5 hopefully you will see some friendly new faces and fresh to insurance.
